Engineered Flooring

Engineered flooring is made of several layers of wood or different grades of the same wood stacked and glued together under heat and pressure. It is less likely to be affected by changes in humidity. It works well in bathrooms, kitchens and basements where light moisture might be present. Still it does not hold up to really wet areas that flood frequently. They can be installed in a number of different ways either nail down, glue down or a floating floor. Like all other flooring engineered flooring comes in a variety of size colour and species.
